750 kWP photovoltaic system at the Central Food logistics platform

Pellegrini always endeavours to optimise the use of energy resources to promote sustainable development from an environmental perspective and one of its achievements in this regard is a project to install a 750 kWp photovoltaic plant covering an area of 9000 m2 at the Central Food logistics platform in Peschiera Borromeo.
The plant, which was commissioned on 22 August 2012, will produce 800,000 kWh/year of electricity for self-consumption, resulting in a reduction of CO₂ emissions of 450 tons/year.
